If you have always wanted to time travel but you are feeling too lazy to move from the sofa, now you have chance to do it. If you are such a fan of google and its continuous changes and innovations in their services as we are, you may have realized that from google maps you can choose the date you want to move around when using the street view. We have to say, it only works for some cities and sometimes the available options vary depending on the areas you may want to visit. The options available vary depending on the number of times Google cameras have captured that same place. Rather than removing old images and including new images, as they have been doing until now; they have included new images to the images existing since the time they started recording.

You only have to move Pegman (the little orange man that activates street view) through the streets of any city in the world where google cameras have been capturing images in several occasions, and we will be able to see the evolution (or non evolution) of the area over the latest years.

If you take a look for example at the chosen link, you will see on the top left hand side of your screen a black box where the address is detailed. Below the address, there is a small clock icon that gives us the option to scroll through time. In our link, we can see the evolution of the Sagrada Familia construction from the latest image taken (October 2013) to the very first image available (May 2008).
